"The Next Big Thing" Blogchain

I was tagged by Jill Robi in this "freeze-tag style blog hop that’s going around Authorville." From what I understand, once tagged you answer the questions on your blog (centering on upcoming writing projects), then tag five other authors while also linking to their blogs and websites. I'm between projects at the moment. Have a few WIP ideas as well as what I'm going to do for NaNoWriMo. However, since I know more about the next Sinners and Saints book at the moment, that's what I'm going with.

THE TEN QUESTIONS 1. What is the working title of your book?

Sins of the Flesh 2. Where did the idea come from for the book?

A variety of places, really building off where I want to go with the character, Lucifer, and how to get him there. Though he's not the hero of the book, much of the plot centers on where he will end up. In the meantime, after Book III, I did want to deal with a badass yet virginal hero. This book’s hero, Roman, fits the bill. 3. What genre does your book fall under?

Erotic romance, paranormal romance, and angels and demons.   4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

I've always imagined Michael Fassbender as the lead for Roman. And Kristen Bell as Invi.

5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Falling in love during the apocalypse certainly wasn’t in the brochure.

6. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

For the Sinners and Saints Series, I’ve decided to self-publish. The first two books are currently with a house, but once the contracts are up, they’ll be given a quick edit and put up again. Currently, these are the only books I plan on self-publishing; I just want to ensure I maintain creative control over the series.

7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Haven’t started it yet, but I’m guessing it’ll take around 6-8 months, judging on how long the third book took.

8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

666 Angel Lane by Lori Green

9. Who or What inspired you to write this book?

It’s the fourth in a series, and the last before the conclusion. I was inspired during the first book when I met Luxi and Invi, the supporting characters. I wanted to explore the world more, and through the world, the characters.

10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

I’m planning on a different sort of hero. Brooding and masculine, yes, but also virginal because of his role within the universe. It’ll be a challenge for me, but I’m looking forward to it.

I’m tagging the following five authors to be the Next Big Thing:  1. Sarah Ballance

2. JA Saare

3. Nikki London

4. Kacey Hammell

5. Deanna Lynn
